'Out in the Open' is a half-hour long television talk show about the outdoors and nature including hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and outdoors conservation. We're in our 18th year of WEEKLY shows. The show reaches about 140,000 households on Blue Ridge Communications TV 13 cable network in the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. 'Out in the Open' strives to educate all viewers about outdoor subjects. Beside many outdoorsmen, women and children, we have a strong following of regular viewers who do not hunt and fish, but who find the show informational. Our goal is to provide up to date information on area outdoor activities; to promote local outdoor personalities; to promote positive aspects of the Pocono Mountains; and to encourage more women and youngsters to participate in outdoors sports.
